(1) External factors External factors mainly refer to the environment in which industrial buildings are located. The use conditions of industrial buildings are more complicated, and the environment is harsher than that of civil buildings. The waste gas, waste water, waste residue and other pollutants produced by industrial production are the long-term environment of industrial buildings. Wastewater such as various acids, alkalis, salt solutions, etc.; waste residues such as insoluble salts, aerosols, etc. are important factors that cause corrosion and damage to steel structures.
(2) Internal factors Internal factors mainly refer to the quality of the steel structure itself. With the use of steel structures, a large number of steel structures have exceeded their service life. Under the influence of various factors, these steel structure workshops have been seriously damaged. The steel structures have lost their protection ability, rust has occurred, and the protective layer has not occurred. The spalled steel has already shown that cracks have been created, allowing water and oxygen to penetrate into it, both of which form the necessary conditions for corrosion of steel structures. Its corrosion is mainly due to the oxidation-reduction reaction between the steel structure and the surrounding medium, which belongs to electrochemical corrosion. In a humid environment, due to different surface structures, uneven force and surface flatness, the steel structure surface is prone to electrode differences between adjacent particles, forming various "micro batteries". The iron at the anode of the battery loses electrons to form ferrous ions into the electrolyte solution, and the cathode gets electrons to interact with the key oxygen of the water film to form hydroxide ions. The two finally form Fe(OH)2, and Fe(OH)2 is absorbed in the air Oxidation forms Fe(OH)3 (rust).
Therefore, in a humid environment and with sufficient air, the steel structure will be severely corroded. Therefore, anti-corrosion panels must be used on the roof of the factory, which is considered from an economical and practical point of view.
