The continuous molding process of composite products refers to the whole process from putting in raw materials, through the process of dipping, forming, curing, demolding, and cutting, until the finished products are obtained afterward, all in a continuous manner.
According to the different products produced, the continuous molding process is divided into three kinds: continuous pultrusion molding process, continuous winding molding process, and continuous board-making process.
The pultrusion molding process mainly produces various FRP profiles, such as FRP bars, I-beams, angles, channels, squares, hollow webs, and shaped section profiles.
The continuous winding forming process is mainly used to produce FRP pipes and tank bodies of different diameters, characterized by high production efficiency, stable product quality, low labor intensity, and saving raw materials. It can reduce the number of core molds.
Continuous board-making process It is mainly used to produce various specifications of flat plates, corrugated plates, and laminated structural plates, etc. continuously with glass fiber mats and cloth as reinforcing materials.

Common features of continuous molding process.
1. The production process is fully mechanized and automated, with high production efficiency.
2. The production process is uninterrupted and the length of products is unlimited.
3. Less edge waste in the production process, saving raw materials and energy. 4.
4. Stable product quality and good repeatability.
