The General Administration of Customs of China announced today (26th) that since the establishment of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum, China-Africa bilateral trade volume has increased from 87.37 billion yuan in 2000 to 1.3 trillion yuan in 2020, an average annual increase of 14.5%. The bilateral trade volume of my country's private enterprises with Africa has increased from 4.76 billion yuan in 2000 to 783.09 billion yuan in 2020, an average annual increase of 29.1%. The proportion of private enterprises in China-Africa bilateral trade has increased from 5.4% to 60.2%.
