According to material experiments, the thermal conductivity of the interlayer is between 0.018 and 0.028 W/m·K, which can effectively reduce heat transfer and ensure stable temperature in the compartment. Its tensile strength is ≥400Mpa, ensuring that the compartment panels are not easily damaged during use. In addition, the density of the compartment panels is 1.5-2.0g/cm³, which is significantly lighter than carbon steel, reducing energy consumption while improving transportation efficiency.

2. Production process The production of fiberglass gel-coated boards mainly includes two processes: compression molding and continuous lamination. The compression molding process is to put glass fiber, resin and other raw materials into a mold in a certain proportion, and form them through the action of pressure and temperature. The key to this process is temperature control. The appropriate temperature can ensure that the resin is fully cured and improve the performance of the board. The continuous lamination process is to continuously compound and press glass fiber, resin and other materials. This process has high requirements for resin impregnation technology to ensure that the resin is evenly infiltrated into the glass fiber and ensure the consistency of the board quality. The two processes have their own advantages and disadvantages, and need to be selected according to specific product requirements.

Innovative application of gel-coated boards in refrigerated compartments The application of fiberglass gel-coated boards in refrigerated compartments has brought about significant innovative changes. Although glass fiber gel-coated boards have made significant progress in the field of refrigerated compartments, they still face many challenges, but also contain broad development trends. The problem of recycling is a major challenge currently faced. As a composite material, gel-coated boards are difficult to recycle. The lack of effective recycling technology and systems has led to a large number of discarded gel-coated boards that are difficult to properly handle, wasting resources and polluting the environment. However, the direction of intelligent development has brought new opportunities for it. In the future, it is expected to realize intelligent control of compartment temperature, intelligent diagnosis of faults, etc., and improve the level of intelligence in cold chain transportation.

 1. Superior heat and cold insulation performance The 50-100mm polyurethane interlayer closed-cell rate of the FRP refrigerated compartment panel is ≥95%, which makes its K value ≤0.3W/m²·K. The two are closely related, and the high closed-cell rate effectively prevents heat transfer. In a -18℃ environment, the temperature rise is ≤2℃ in 72 hours, and the low temperature environment can be maintained for a long time. Due to the excellent thermal insulation performance, the operation time of the refrigeration unit is reduced by 25%, which greatly reduces energy consumption and saves costs for cold chain transportation.

 2. Adaptability to all-scenario environments Corrosion resistance tests show that FRP refrigerated compartment panels can withstand 500 hours of immersion in 5% HCL solution, and in UV resistance tests, the color difference ΔE≤2 after 3000 hours of QUV aging.
