Fiberglass reinforced plastics are made from a combination of polyester resin and fine glass fibers, usually consisting of an outer resin layer (gel coat), which gives the product excellent long-term durability and UV protection. Due to the superior properties of this composite material, developed as an insulation panel for temperature controlled truck refrigerators that require special protection for safe transport, FRP is also suitable as a liner for recreational vehicles, campers, caravans and touring sales vehicles. FRP are safe and reliable, which is why they are used for coating and regeneration in more hygienically demanding environments, such as industrial refrigerator batteries, tanker coatings and insulating containers.
