FRP Fireproof Panels

Introduction

FRP Fireproof Panel is a high-performance composite building material made from fiberglass reinforcement combined with fire-retardant unsaturated polyester (or vinyl ester) resin through a continuous molding process. Engineered to inhibit flame spread and smoke generation, it provides critical fire protection while maintaining the inherent advantages of FRP - lightweight, corrosion resistance, and high mechanical strength.

The panel achieves fire performance ratings such as Class A (ASTM E84), B1 (GB/T 8624), or equivalent international standards. The resin matrix is formulated with halogen-free or flame retardants, and special surfacing veils can be applied to further enhance fire, smoke, and toxicity (FST) performance.

Widely used in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, public infrastructure, and transportation, FRP fireproof panels serve as wall cladding, ceiling systems, partitions, and duct enclosures where strict fire safety codes must be met.

Characteristics
1. Anti-Corrosion
FRP anti-corrosive panels have a unique anti-corrosion ability that can resist acid, alkali, salt, and other corrosive gases and liquids. They are widely used in corrosive environments such as chemical plants, sewage treatment plants, and coastal factories.
2. High Strength
FRP anti-corrosive panels have a high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent mechanical properties. They are much stronger than traditional building materials such as steel and concrete, making them ideal for use in areas with high structural requirements.
3.  Easy to Install

1.Commercial & Public Buildings Interior wall cladding, ceiling panels, and fire-rated partitions in shopping malls, hospitals, schools, airports, and subway stations where fire safety is mandatory.

2.Industrial Facilities Chemical / electroplating plants - Acid-alkali fumes and salt spray. Use FR grade with corrosion-resistant ophthalmic resin and a gel-coat barrier. Applied on roof, side walls and ventilation enclosures.

3.Transportation Infrastructure Tunnel linings, metro station interiors, and underpass wall panels that must meet strict fire, smoke, and toxicity (FST) standards for passenger safety.

4.Warehouses / steel frame sheds - Large spans, low maintenance demand. Standard grade combined with daylight bands; same profile as steel sheets for mixed laying.

5.Power / substations / water treatment - Insulation requirement and outdoor exposure. Use insulating FR grade with high dielectric strength for equipment-shed roofs and enclosure walls.
