1. Combustion basis
Rigid foam polyurethane is a thermosetting material, which forms a carbonization layer after heating and combustion, blocking the further entry of heat and oxygen, and hindering the further combustion of foam body, which is not easy to produce fire spread accidents. And polystyrene foam is a thermoplastic material, which shrinks and melts when heated, and then drops and burns. 2. Corrosion resistance
Polyurethane is resistant to water, oil and solvent. Polystyrene water resistance but not solvent resistance, benzene, ester solvents are extremely sensitive, easy to produce rapid corrosion.
