FRP RV Body Panels

The FRP panels are made of a polymer resin and glass fiber composite, achieving an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. They significantly reduce the weight of the RV and reduce fuel consumption by 10–15%, while maintaining a tensile strength of up to 150 MPa and a flexural strength of 300 MPa. This lightweight design also improves towing stability and handling, which is a key advantage for long-distance travel.

Unlike traditional metal or wood panels, FRP is naturally corrosion-resistant and resists rust, mold and insect damage even in extreme environments. Its thermosetting resin matrix is ​​highly weather-resistant and can withstand temperature changes from -40°C to +80°C without deformation. A UV-resistant gel coat (thickness 0.5–1.0 mm) further prevents fading and surface aging, with a service life of more than 15 years - twice as long as traditional materials.

The moldability of FRP supports endless design possibilities. Panels can be formed into smooth aerodynamic curves, complex textures or custom sizes for A-frame motorhomes, C-frame motorhomes, travel trailers or campers. Factory prefabricated products are available in a variety of colors (matte/glossy) and do not require post-painting, reducing costs and environmental impact.
