Product Description
Fiberglass surface
Surfaces may range from extremely smooth and flat, to pebble embossed, to non-slip (textured non-slip) and water-rippled surfaces. All surfaces are seamless and therefore easy to clean.
Surface treatment
It is unaffected by stains, alkalis and solvents, impact and abrasion, and odors. High gloss gel coat or matte.
Color
Pigmentation is added during the manufacturing process during the application of surface treatments. Available in RAl colours, some applications require minimal production runs. Tinting the topcoat enhances the panel's UV and weather resistance and often eliminates the need for painting.
Size
FRP plywood is available in 4 x 8 foot panels as well as large seamless body panels 8 to 10 feet wide and 45 feet or longer for truck and trailer bodies, containers or other applications.
Product Structure
The skin of the sandwich board is a glass fiber reinforced plastic sheet. It contains resin and fiberglass. Resin is used as a matrix, accounting for 30% to 40% of the total weight. The FRP sheet is reinforced with glass fiber, accounting for about 60% to 70% of the total weight. Its core is foam or honeycomb or plywood. You can choose PU, PET, XPS, EPS, etc. for foam core and PP for honeycomb. Foam cores generally have good thermal and insulating properties, while honeycombs have high strength and impact resistance.
