Gel coats are dispersed fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP) such as unsaturated polyesters with added pigments and thixotropic agents and table top coatings for the development of colored thixotropic products. It is a special resin among unsaturated polyester resins, mainly used for thin layer continuous covering on the surface of glass fiber products.
