0.9mm Thin Flat GRP Sheet For Truck Body Interior Wall
Why do we make Flat GRP Sheet as thin as 0.9mm?
As we all know,it's "more thicker,more strength" for flat GRP sheet.And generally,truck builders use 1.2mm,1.5mm,1.8mm,2mm for truck body panels.However,when it comes to trucks,weight is one of the most important factors that truck builders need to consider. Being more lightweight means more energy-saving and cost-efficient.In addition,the price varies with the thickness.For example,0.9mm flat GRP sheet is cheaper than 1.5mm ones.Therefore,given these two factors,some truck builders would chose 0.9mm flat GRP sheet for truck body interior wall.
In addtion,we add woven roving into the this flat GRP sheet in order to improve the strength.Please look at the pictures below for the front side and back side of the this panel.
Application of Flat GRP Sheet
Two layer of flat GRP sheet as skin on the surface and XPS foam or PU foam as core material in the middle make sandwich panels.And truck body builder use this kindo sandwich panels for truck body wall.
0.9mm GRP sheet is better used for interior side and 1.5mm or more thicker ones are recommended for exterior side.
